Mustang Runner
C++ - Ubisoft API

Mustang Runner is a T-Rex runner like created during the Ubisoft DAU 2023. This project was followed by 2 mentors based in the Annecy's studio. I worked on a pooling logic to manage elements.

WaterLoose
C++ - Unreal Engine - Multiplayer

Waterloose is a multiplayer game in which two teams of boats compete to protect their respective bases.

My contribution

During the course of the project, I was able to participate in several aspects of the project.

We can mention in particular:

 

In level design:

- Creation of the game map based on instructions

 

In programming :

- Creation of base and outpost gun behaviour (boat detection, firing, raycast)

- Creation of widgets for Menu/Lobby

- Creation of soundscape for immersion

 

 

 

 

Thalassa RV
C# - 3D Unity - RV

Thalassa VR is a small virtual reality game, developed with Occulus. Its objective: to reduce the discomfort of people suffering from thalassophobia. Three biomes are to be discovered, plunging you little by little into the depths of the sea.

My contribution

During the course of the project, I was able to participate in several aspects of the project.

These included:

 

- Creation of the UI, 
- Level Design,
- Moving platform functionality.

Scales & Forks
C# - 3D Unity - PC

Scales & Forks is a 3D city builder allowing you to play as a chief trying to make his village prosper. The originality of the game lies in the fact that the manageable units in the management game are the villagers but also dragons that will help throughout the game. The goal is that both species live in harmony, despite the accidents and the vagaries of the weather.

My contribution

During the course of the project, I was able to participate in several aspects of the project.

We can mention in particular:

 

In game design:

- Creation of a 60 pages GDD

- Creation of the game concept

 

In programming :

- Building installation with resource management via the UI
- Animations of peasants
- Creation of a panel of explanatory UI at the beginning

- Assignment of peasants to buildings
- Production of resources by buildings

Squirrel VS Man
C# - 3D Unity - PC

The Squirrel VS Man game allows you to play as a squirrel who will fight invading hunters. The game alternates between an RPG view and an FPS view to allow the player to explore places, at rodent height. The main enemies to fight are the hunters who can hear or see the protagonist if he is not discreet enough.

My contribution

During the course of the project, I was able to participate in several aspects of the project.

We can mention in particular:

 

In game design:

- Creation of the game concept,

- Creation of a 30 pages GDD,

- Creation of camera transitions between the FPS and RPG view,

- Help for the design of kinematics of the beginning.


In programming:

- The animations and movement of the squirrel,

- The view and the shooting in FPS mode for the squirrel,

- Animations and movements of the hunters,

- Damage management, shooting projectiles at opponents,

- UI design of the squirrel view (life, items, number of ammo...),

- The creation of progressive fire on the scenes,

- Creation of the UI dialogue system, interactions with the characters,

- Complete creation of the "parking lot" end scene


In project management :

- Realization of the tasks in backlogs,

- Resource management (time, people...),

- Choice of sounds in games,

- Research of assets for a coherent universe.

Tales of Stars
C# - 2D Unity - Android

Tales of Stars is a small and fun platerformer mobile game aiming at learning three legends around constellations. In a quiet and calm atmosphere, our character collects stars that gradually tell him the legend before being able to recreate the constellation to put it back in place.

My contribution

During the course of the project, I was able to participate in several aspects of the project.

We can mention in particular:

 

In game design:

- Contributing to drafts of visuals.

 

In programming :

- Animations and movements of the main character

- Platforms mechanisms

- The levels of reconstitutions of the stars

- UI, menus and buttons

 

In art :

- Creation of some scenes of the stories.

 

In project management :

- Time management (respect of the sprints deadlines...)

- Realization of the presentations of the progress for the sprints 

- Realization of the tasks in backlogs

- Resource management (time, people...)

My Virtual Campus
C# - 2D Unity - PC

During the pandemic, it was hard for students to socialize. Between the distance learning and the lack of festive events, it was easy to feel unintegrated with the class. My Virtual Campus is a limited multiplayer game that attempts to bond in a 2D isometric environment representing the student campus.

My contribution

During the course of the project, I was able to participate in several aspects of the project.

These included:

 

In project management:

- Managing the project from start to finish as the project manager,

- Creation of a list of backlogs to be done,

- Monitoring of the different teams (Gameplay, UI, Network),

- Time management (respect of sprint deadlines...),

- Writing of the design document.
